Sissiboo Landing
Sissiboo Landing the official Visitor Information Center for Weymouth and it is the location of a small interpretive center depicting Weymouth in the 1800 and early 1900s, New France, the Loyalists and the Mik'maq history. There are computers for use and a genealogy section.

New France
In 1892, Jean Jacques Stehelin, a wealthy French aristocrat established an elaborate settlement in Digby County known as New France. Among the facilities constructed at his ‘Electric City’ were a teahouse, a chapel, a casino, a sawmill, a wooden railway and a blacksmith’s forge.

Donna Hoppe Gallery
The work comes primarily from my love affair with lokta paper, a paper made in Nepal from a sustainable resource, the Daphne Cannabina shrub. This is an acid free paper, made in sheets that measure approximately 20 x 30 inches. Each sheet varies in colour and texture, and is uneven in density.

Hinterland Adventures & Gear
Hinterland offers 1/2 day introductory kayak tours, full day and multi day kayaking tours on the tidal Sissiboo River and in St. Mary's Bay in southwestern Nova Scotia.

Gilberts Cove Lighthouse Tea Room
The lighthouse is open 10:00 am to 4 pm Monday to Saturday; Sunday noon to 4 pm. from mid-June to mid-September. The Lighthouse Family Picnic is held on the 3rd Sunday in July, focusing on local musical talent, good food, prizes and fun for all. Visitors are free to tour the lighthouse which houses archival displays, genealogy information, an active quilting room, local crafts and a tearoom.
